Local Processing

All hyperlink analysis is performed locally within the user's browser. The extension compares visible link text with the actual destination domain on the page being viewed.

Network Communication

The current version of VerifiedLink does not transmit user browsing data to external servers.

Tracking and Analytics

VerifiedLink does not track users, does not use analytics, and does not build behavioral profiles.

Permissions

VerifiedLink requires browser access to webpage content so it can inspect hyperlinks and warn users when displayed domains do not match actual destinations.
